Lloyd Financial Service Treuhand (LLFS) is an unauthorized institution

On its website Lloyd Financial Service Treuhand offers “capital preservation and capital management” and claims to take care about 7.000 Investors who are said to have taken investments more than € 1.5 Mrd. in equity funds and bonds.

The company has no address for service in Germany. The post-office box mentioned on the website is not registered on the company.

Based on the facts at hand, BaFin cannot rule out that Lloyd Financial Service Treuhand provides banking acts or financial services which require a licence pursuant to section 32 of the German Banking Act.

As a precaution the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin) clarifies that “Lloyd Financial Service Treuhand (LLFS)” does not hold a licence pursuant to the German Banking Act to conduct banking business or provide financial services. So far the company is not supervised by BaFin.
